The telc B1-B2 nursing examination examines language skills at levels B1-B2. Telc B1-B2 nursing exam is aimed at people who have specialist language knowledge of German, have a recognized qualification in a nursing profession and need a language certificate to practice this profession.

The telc B1-B2 Pflege exam is an internationally recognized technical language exam for nurses in the care of the elderly and the sick. The telc B1-B2 nursing certificate is recognized both in Germany and by many public institutions abroad. The telc B1-B2 nursing exam is based on everyday work in a nursing home and is in the upper range of B1 and B2 in terms of lexicons and structures. The B1-B2 care certificate offers a differentiated evaluation of your language competence, ie you will find out exactly in which areas you have reached level B1 or B2.

The telc B1-B2  Pflege exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam takes about 2 hours.

• Reading and language modules: 60 minutes
• Written expression: 30 minutes

The oral exam lasts approx. 15 minutes (after 20 minutes of preparation) and usually takes place on the same day.

The telc B1-B2 Pflege exam is a scaled exam, ie it covers levels of competence B1 and B2. A telc certificate B1-B2 Pflege will be given to participants who have achieved the partial result B1 in the oral expression sub-test and in one of the two examination parts listening, reading comprehension, language modules or written expression. A telc certificate B2 maintenance certificate is given to participants who have achieved the partial result B2 in the oral expression sub-test and in one of the two parts of the examination listening, reading comprehension, language modules or written expression.

The examination is evaluated centrally at the telc headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. As soon as Perfect Deutsch has received the certificates, we will inform you (usually approx. 4-5 weeks after the exam date) by email. Then you can collect your certificates at the Perfect German Examination Center during office hours on presentation of your photo ID.

Shipping is possible but must be paid for on the day of the inspection (domestic € 10, within the EU € 20). Outside the EU, we only send the certificates via express delivery (DHL) for a fee of € 90.

With a signed power of attorney and a copy of your identity card, you can have the certificate picked up by someone you trust. The person must also have ID with them.

Your certificate for a passed telc exam is valid indefinitely.

Yes. You can repeat the telc Deutsch B1-B2 maintenance as often as you like. You have to repeat the entire exam – written and oral.
